  • SCOPE

    1 Scope

    1.1 These requirements cover electric garment finishing appliances rated 250 V or less for household and commercial use, in accordance with the National Electrical Code, NFPA 70.

    1.2 These requirements do not apply to flatirons, dry-cleaning machines, laundry equipment, revolving clothes racks, or other appliances covered by individual requirements that are separate from this standard.
